Doha
The capital of Qatar, Doha is situated halfway down the east coast of the
peninsula. It is an important cultural and commercial centre and enjoys
excellent communications with the outside world through its modern
seaport, airport, and telephone links.

The city is investing in the future by making it self in to a city that will
compete with the likes of Dubai. Its has a championship golf course and
a good solid infrastructure to make this city next to the sea a most
desirable location to come to work, reside and play.

Lusail
Lusail is about half an hour drive from Doha. Lusail project is worth
$5billion and will be built over 35 sq km and eventually provide
accommodation for up to 200,000 people. The development will have two
marinas, residential areas, commercial districts and leisure facilities,
including two golf courses and an entertainment district. It will be built in
phases with the whole project slated for completion by 2010. Lusail
Development will be one the largest and most innovative projects in Qatar
in terms of total area, investment cost and philosophy. The property
market in Qatar is experiencing a boom, with recent forecasts suggesting
that investments worth billions of Qatari riyals will be channeled into this
sector over the next few years. Oil and natural gas rich Qatar is following
in Dubai’s footsteps in its efforts to diversify its economy to maintain its
position as one of the fastest growing and richest per-capita countries
globally.  To this end Qatar represents an incredibly exhilarating
opportunity to global real estate investors seeking high end properties
offering large yield and growth potential. Qatar is also benefiting
financially from the fact that it is the host city for the 2006 Asian Games;
these facts together with the expansion of Qatar’s economy has resulted
in a substantial construction boom with the country rapidly building new
stadiums, roads, hospitals, residential accommodation, retail space and
commercial property.

The Qatari Government is spending more than $20 billion (Dh73.46
billion) on tourism infrastructure, in addition to the New Doha International
Airport, which will cost $5.5 billion (Dh20.20 billion). The country is set to
be the world's largest LNG exporter by 2012 as it continues to develop the
vast natural gas reserves of the North Field. Lusail leisure city is to be
built on an area of about one million square metres (100 hectares) and
will include an amusement park, parks, theatres and hotels, according to
a statement distributed at the signing ceremony.
